I started to get into Acrylic pouring in 2019 as a practise of letting go of perfection and letting the paint literally take control.

Though there is an element of control such as choosing the colours and pouring them onto the canvas, thats really it.
The end result is always a mystery and I love this process.

I use mostly deep colours that remind me of earth and sea.
But I have also experimented with other colours and styles.

I feel like a mad scientist in her lab, completely letting go and enjoying the process.

This was my first solo exhibition. Here I had an entire space to create my own world. The exhibition went on for one month. Displayed was a series of acrylics and larger paintings which all together presented
"Into The Deep"
A collection looking into our inner worlds, what we can see if we let go? The form and the formless co-existing, creating one collective psyche, a deeper knowing.

This was my first official exhibition which was a collaboration with several other artists based in Edinburgh. It was a pleasure and an honour to have my work up in this renowned art space. Here I displayed a series of my original watercolour artworks along with some of my Acrylic pours.

This was an opportunity which followed from the previous exhibition at Dundas st. The organiser managed to arrange another exhibition in Glasgow. It felt great to bring my work to another city.

Keep an eye on my instagram for announcements of new upcoming exhibitions, workshops and markets.
